anthem-logoUpgrade to DTS-X

Anthem MRX-720, MRX-1120 and AV60M AV Receivers have new firmware to enable DTS-X decode – this is a simple upgrade via downloading the upgrade file to a USB drive, and plugging it into your amplifier. Details are on the Anthem web site here.


New Gen Minipod on deskPodspeakers_logo_ikon-1Re-Design for Podspeakers


Podspeakers have launched a new version of their iconic Podspeakers. This brings the MiniPod up to MkIV, and The Drop and BigPod up to MkIII. A similar upgrade to the MicroPod is coming soon. Recognisable by the new all-black drive units, these have had a radical new update with new drivers, crossovers and cabinet materials. Available now from our Webstore – & prices from £207 per speaker, these are great sounding and striking looking speakers.



LinnLinn Exakt upgrade latest

Linn have extended the performance of their Exakt enabled speakers, bringing precise phase linearity to the whole of the audio range. Part of the physics of speakers means that the phase varies with frequency across the audio range. The latest Exakt update corrects for this. – Read about how it works on Linn’s Web site.
Linn are also in the Beta Test phase of enabling multi-channel 5.1 systems with Exakt technology. More information available on this soon.
