This LP12 originally built in 1991, came in for its latest upgrade – new Power Supply, Motor, Sub-Chassis, and Phono Stage. We had upgraded this LP12 with a rebuild of the Akito tonearm, a Koil cartridge, Karousel bearing and Kore sub-chassis a while ago. Now it is back for the next step on its route to full Klimax level…

Out with the old:
Motley collection of original and previous upgrade parts removed from the LP12
…and in with the new:
New Keel SE and Radikal motor fitted.
The Motor and PSU were upgraded to a Klimax Radikal/2 with Utopik Power Supply, and then a Urika phono stage also benefitting from the Utopik Power supply in the Radikal. Next stop in the upgrade cycle will focus attention on the Tonearm and cartridge.
For now, it looks and sounds superb!
