The package consists of the streaming music player/amplifier, and a pair of speakers. The amplifier actually drives the speakers as a fully active system with a digital crossover and a power amplifier for each of the drive units in each speaker. The speaker cables are integrated into the speakers, and simply plug into the back of the amplifier with a secure bayonet-type (speakon) connection. The amplifier unit is also as happy sitting vertically as horizontally (the small display on the front automatically changes orientation).
