The Dali Kubik One, is a first class sound bar, designed to go underneath your TV. It’s probably fairer however to say that it is a one piece HiFi, as this is a superb sounding piece of equipment.
At nearly 1m wide, and 10Kg the DALI Kubik One is quite a beast, however this size means that it can also pack quite a punch. We’ve listened to a few Soundbars now, and this one stands out as much better than average. Dali’s attention to detail on the sound front, runs to driving the speaker fully active, with 4 x 25w amplifiers built into the box. It may not look on paper as much power, however for the vast majority of applications, this proves to be more than adequate. The temptation is always there to wind the volume up to 11, as it delivers presence and precise detail in spades.
The soundstage is also impressive, as the usual wide DALI dispersion means that it reaches easily into every corner of your room, and sounds much wider than you would expect from a single box.
If you’re looking for a great sounding HiFi to go into a small space, this could be the solution you’re looking for. It plays up to 24 Bit 96KHz resolution music, so can cope with nearly anything you might want to throw at it.
The DALI Kubik One connectivity includes USB, Optical, 3.5mm jack and Phono sockets as well as Bluetooth, to cover all of the regular requirements
We’re not really surprised that this has been voted 5 stars by the BBC Music Magazine, as we feel this is a truly musical amp / speaker unit.
Add to the sound a choice of grille-cloth colours, and this can either visually blend into the background, or stand out as a design statement.
