Again we are supporting the DALI Loudspeaker brand at the Bristol HiFi Show. The Show this year is from the 22nd to the 24th February, and is at the usual location at the Mariott City Centre Hotel in the middle of Bristol.
We will be situated in rooms 302 & 304 on the third floor, and hope again to be one of the best sounding systems. Please come and see what you think!
Follow Up – Some feedback from visitors to the show:
your company.Thank you for your Demonstration that my wife Janette and I enjoyed very much indeed. I
think that I mentioned to you, that in terms of sound and presentation, you were a “country mile”
ahead of the competition. Which brings me to the question, did you win the Award at the show
for the best stand?? I would be intrigued to know.
Please would be kind enough to thank your Co Director William White also, for the time he spent
with us, discussing the pros and cons and aspects of your products.Kind Regards,DH
| Linn KDS & Solos at Bristol Sound & Vision Show
Visit Dali in room 302 to hear a pair of Dali Epicon 2s playing a Klimax DS through a pair of Klimax Solos. An upgrade from the DS and Twin of last year.
The best sounding room again this year in my opinion. Well done HiFi Cinema for loaning the kit |

Alan,
I was also there on Friday and would say that it was the best sound of the show for me too.Is that you with the iPad in one of the pics? Whoever it was they were the nicest presenter at the show too!Loved the playground sounds from ‘The Wall’ – uncanny. This system was also amazing at getting music into the roomGreat stuff all roundCJ

In all my favourite room was the Dali demo room, they had some Dali Epicon 2 paired with some Linn stuff (dont know anything about Linn so couldnt tell you what it was), the presentation of this setup was perfect in my opinion, shame about the £3700 price tag though. They also had some Bluetooth enabled speakers, which were also rather nice.

Dali must be one of the most underrated speaker manufacturers out there. This year instead of the epic epicon 6 they had the Epicon 2 standmounts which produced brilliant scale and accuracy and the demo man consistently playing exciting and different music to show this. Well done.
I felt totally disillusioned with the whole experience. I came away thinking the system I already have was better than nearly anything I heard at the show.
There was one exception and although I hate to say it, it was streaming system. This was in the Dali room who were using Linn Electronics and the new Dali stand mounted speaker. Wow what a sound absolutely fantastic. They played classical, Pink Floyd and even a home made track recorded in a garage. Absolutely superb.
Only issue the system price was £34,000
This was the highlight of my visit.
